Melbourne’s favourite chocolatier and patisserie Cacao Fine Chocolates have opened a brand new Cacao Lab in the CBD and I was lucky enough to be invited along to the opening – or unlucky enough for my waistline! The food was unbelievably delicious and as you will see in the below images, oh so pretty!
Chocolatiers and pastry chefs Laurent Mercic and Tim Clark are the culinary talents behind Cacao Lab. Tim was the first Australia Callebaut Chocolate Master and went on to compete at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris where he gained the admiration of some of the top chefs in France.
The Lab features a custom made orange resin cabinet that houses Cacaos sweet jewels from a variety of artisanal desserts, macarons, chocolates and their signature eclairs, which feature a variety of delicious flavours from salted caramel to vanilla rose – oh and I should mention the vanilla rose flavour has Audrey Hepburn’s face on it. Perfection!
